Zodiac

I'm so confused lately about what zodiac animal I am. It may be a case like my father's, in which case he was born on the line in between the Rabbit and Tiger. Okay, so after some well needed browsing I found out that I barely make it in the lines of the Dog (February 9, 1994-January 30, 1995. My birthday being the 25th). So I guess I'm the year of the Dog. Tohru Honda is also the year of the dog it's pretty awesome since she's my anime idol and all (sorry, Shigure)... Anyways since this is all sorted-out I guess I'll post the Chinese/Japanese Zodiac (one of the differences is that instead of the year of the Pig the Japanese call it the year of the Boar):

Rat (Yuki from Furuba): Being the first sign of the Japanese zodiac, rats are leaders, pioneers and conquerors. They are charming, passionate, charismatic, practical and hardworking. Rat people are endowed with great leadership skills and are the most highly organized, meticulous, and systematic of the twelve signs. Intelligent and cunning at the same time, rats are highly ambitious and strong-willed people who are keen and unapologetic promoters of their own agendas, which often include money and power. They are energetic and versatile and can usually find their way around obstacles, and adapt to various environments easily. A rat's natural charm and sharp demeanor make it an appealing friend for almost anyone, but rats are usually highly exclusive and selective when choosing friends and so often have only a few very close friends whom they trust.

They tend to be obstinate and controlling, insisting on having things their way no matter what the cost. These people tend to have immense control of their emotions, which they may use as a tool to manipulate and exploit others, both emotionally and mentally. Rats are masters of mind games and can be very dangerous, calculative and downright cruel if the need arises. Quick-tempered and aggressive, they will not think twice about exacting revenge on those that hurt them in any way. Rats need to learn to relax sometimes, as they can be quite obsessed with detail, intolerant and strict, demanding order, obedience, and perfection.

A valuable lesson for Rats is to learn to consider others before themselves, at least sometimes, and to avoid forcing their ideas onto others. Rats are fair in their dealings and expect the same from others in return, and can be deeply affronted if they feel they have been deceived or that their trust has been abused. Sometimes they set their targets too high, whether in relation to their friends or in their career. But as the years pass, they will become more idealistic and tolerant. If they can develop their sense of self and realize it leaves room for others in their life as well, Rats can find true happiness.

According to tradition, Rats often carry heavy karma and at some point in life may face an identity crisis or some kind of feeling of guilt. Rats are said to often have to work very long and hard for everything they may earn or have in life. However, a Rat born during the day is said to have things a bit easier than those who are born at night. Traditionally, Rats born during the night may face extreme hardships and suffering throughout life. Rats in general should guard themselves against hedonism and nostalgia, as it may lead to self-destruction. Gambling, alcohol and drugs tend to be great temptations to Rat natives.

Traditionally, Rats should avoid Horses, but they can usually find their best friends and love interests in Monkeys, Dragons, and Oxen.
Professions include espionage, psychiatry, psychology, writing, politics, law, engineering, accounting, detective work, and pathology.

Ox (Haru form Furuba): The Cow is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. This powerful sign is a born leader, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. As one might guess, such people are dependable, calm, and modest. Like their animal namesake, the Ox is unswervingly patient, tireless in their work, and capable of enduring any amount of hardship without complaint.

Ox people need peace and quiet to work through their ideas, and when they have set their mind on something it is hard for them to be convinced otherwise. An Ox person has a very logical mind and is extremely systematic in whatever they do, even without imagination. These people speak little but are extremely intelligent. When necessary, they are articulate and eloquent.

People born under the influence of the Ox are kind, caring souls, logical, positive, filled with common sense and with their feet firmly planted on the ground. Despite this fact, they still behave in a manner that professes complete and "utter" disregard. Security is their main preoccupation in life, and they are prepared to toil long and hard in order to provide a warm, comfortable and stable nest for themselves and their families. Strong-minded, stubborn, individualistic, the majority are highly intelligent individuals who don't take kindly to being told what to do.

The Ox works hard, patiently, and methodically, with original intelligence and reflective thought. These people enjoy helping others. Behind this tenacious, laboring, and self-sacrificing exterior lies an active mind.

The Ox is not extravagant, and the thought of living off credit cards or being in debt makes them nervous. The possibility of taking a serious risk could cause the Ox sleepless nights.
Ox people are truthful and sincere, and the idea of wheeling and dealing in a competitive world is distasteful to them. They are rarely driven by the prospect of financial gain. These people are always welcome because of their honesty and patience. They have many friends, who appreciate the fact that the Ox people are wary of new trends, although every now and then they can be encouraged to try something new.

It is important to remember that the Ox people are sociable and relaxed when they feel secure, but occasionally a dark cloud looms over such people and they engage all the trials of the whole world and seek solutions for them.

Years of the Ox:

19 February 1901 - 7 February 1902: Metal Ox
6 February 1913 - 25 January 1914: Water Ox
25 January 1925 - 12 February 1926: Wood Ox
11 February 1937 - 30 January 1938: Fire Ox
29 January 1949 - 16 February 1950: Earth Ox
15 February 1961 - 4 February 1962: Metal Ox
3 February 1973 - 22 January 1974: Water Ox
4 February 1985 - 8 February 1986: Wood Ox
7 February 1997 - 28 January 1998: Fire Ox
26 January 2009 - 14 February 2010: Earth Ox
2021 - 2022: Metal Ox
2033 - 2034: Water Ox

Tiger (Kisa from Furuba): Tiger people are difficult to resist, for they are magnetic characters and their natural air of authority confers a certain prestige on them. They are tempestuous yet calm, warm-hearted yet fearsome, courageous in the face of danger yet yielding, soft and mysterious in unexpected places. They enjoy a life full of challenges and unexpected events, like visiting unusual places and meeting interesting or outstanding people. Other people in their area are easily attracted by the tiger's enthusiasm and way of life. Tigers find pleasure in the unpredictable, and while other people would rather make a backward step, they are not afraid to explore the new and unusual. But it is not that simple to interest the Tiger. What they really need is first-hand experience. Usually open and frank, these people are likely to withdraw and can be aggressive when trapped. As soon as the Tiger has regained their sense of security their confidence also returns, enabling them to set out once more. These people usually tend to trust their instincts, though there is another side of their personality, which assesses situations thoughtfully before they launch any actions. Their friends usually secretly admire their determination and optimism, though sometimes may find it complicated to share the Tiger's enthusiasm and can be pushed away and left behind. Although Tigers can be courageous and generous friends, if they are not able to achieve what they want, they can be inflexible and self-centered. So if your friend was born in the year of the Tiger, there will be highs and lows in your friendship, but the friendship itself will remain firm.

Ideal jobs for tigers include entrepreneur, military officer, politician, musician, writer, poet, artist, theater director, biological and environmental engineer, stockbroker, athlete, film star, trade union leader, company director, stunt person, explorer, and lawyer.
Love interests for the Tiger are the Dog and Horse.

Rabbit (Momiji form Furuba): Those following traditional Chinese astrology consider people born in the Year of the Rabbit to make ideal diplomats or politicians. In Chinese astrological thought, a "rabbit person" is graceful, cultured, well-mannered, articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. Although Rabbit people get along well with many people, at heart they are considered to be basically reserved creatures, and are only truly happy when engrossed in some sort of scholarly or intellectual activity. Rabbit people are considered too sensitive for the world around them; they are not able to thrive in competitive or aggressive environments, and are anxious when others force them to take risks. Their inner world is considered too delicate for unsettled or unpredictable situations, and they tend to create peaceful and comfortable atmospheres--like rabbit dens--instinctively. According to traditional Chinese astrology, this characteristic makes them very hospitable and attentive people, who take care of those around them.

Timid and attractive, the Rabbits of the Chinese Zodiac tend to act more like bunnies, whether they like it or not! This Sign is extremely popular and has a wide circle of family and friends. Its compassionate nature leads it to be very protective of those it holds dear, but where romance is concerned, the Rabbit's sentimentality can lead it to idealize relationships. The sweet, sensitive Rabbit often ends up giving more of itself to a partner than is realistic or healthy. The good news is, when this Sign goes off-balance, the Rabbit's core group of friends and its stable home life help bring it back to center.

The Rabbit is a rather delicate Sign that needs a solid base in order to thrive. Lacking close, supportive friends and family, the Rabbit might just break down in tears at the first sign of conflict. Emotional upsets in this Sign's life can even lead to physical illnesses. Rabbits dislike arguments and other conflict and will try anything to avoid a fight; this results in something of a pushover nature. Rabbits can also lapse into pessimism and may seem stuck in life -- often to mask their insecure natures. Rabbits tend to move through life's lessons at their own, rather contemplative pace; it's a waste of time to become exasperated with this Sign's seeming disinterest in facing its problems and conquering them.

With the right partner -- meaning someone whose high principles won't allow it to take advantage of this sensitive, giving Sign -- the Rabbit can make an incredibly loving and protective partner or family member. Rabbits love to entertain at home and always make sure their house is comfortable and tastefully-furnished. What Rabbits need most is a stronger sense of self-worth and the security that comes with it. Their discerning natures, coupled with some hard-won assertiveness, will help these happy creatures go far. The average Rabbit person emphasizes the importance of small details. They pay attention to everything from color, design and furniture to food and conversation. And only when they are sure that everything has been arranged as they wish can these people relax and have fun.

People born in the year of the Rabbit often lead a conservative lifestyle where one of the most important things is their security. This quality has a negative side also: opting for safety over risk, they may miss good opportunities. These people are not frivolous or irresponsible, for when they truly believe in something, they are serious, persevering and capable.

Calm as they are, it is not easy to provoke Rabbit people. They are sentimental and compassionate. They can be moved by the personal problems you share with them.
Most compatible with those born in the years of the Sheep, Pig, and Dog.

Years of the Rabbit:

29 January 1903 - 15 February 1904: Water Rabbit
14 February 1915 - 2 February 1916: Wood Rabbit
2 February 1927 - 22 January 1928: Fire Rabbit

Dragon (Hatori from Furuba): The Dragon is omnipotent. He/she is flamboyant, attractive and full of vitality and strength. In China, the Dragon is the sign of the Emperor of China or the male element Yang. The Dragon is the symbol of power and wealth.
It would be right to say that people born in the year of the dragon have a natural charisma and are certainly gifted with power and luck. It is unlikely for them to escape unnoticed from a party or to take second place in a competition. The dragon person has an active mind and shows an unfeigned interest in the world around him/her. This person is also self-confident enough to know how to create a necessary impression. Because they are larger than life themselves, dragon people like to do everything on a grand scale. They are egotistical self-aggrandizing and ambitious, almost to the point of megalomania. They will stop at nothing to get what they want. A person born in this year wears the crown of destiny, and is capable of great achievements if he or she knows how to harness his or her tremendous energy, intelligence and talent. While these people enjoy being the center of attention, they also have a brave and charitable side to their personality. If a dragon's friend faces a problem or dilemma, he or she will be there to offer help, and when others leave the field of battle the dragon takes a step forward to solve the problem with authority and dignity. Dragons set a high standard of actions for themselves as well as for other people and are surprised when others cannot cope with a task; they are so carried away by the process that they fail to see other people's weaknesses.

Ideal jobs for dragons include kings, military officer, politician, musician, buffers, poet, artist, biological and environmental engineer, stockbroker, athlete, trade union leader, company director, explorer, and attorney.
The Dragon is most compatible with the Rat, Monkey, Snake and Rooster.

5 February 2000 - 23 January 2001: Metal Dragon
2012 - 2013: Water Dragon
2024 - 2025: Wood Dragon

Snake (Ayame from Furuba): The person born in the year of snake is frequently attractive, the wisest and most enchanting of all. He or she can become an Ambassador, a Mediator or a talented musician. Such a person is a thinker who also likes to live well; affluence. The Snake person loves books, music, clothes, fine food and wine; but with all their fondness for the finer things in life, their innate grace and elegance gives them a dislike for frivolities, small minds and foolish talk.

Some Snakes may have a slow or lazy way of speaking but this does not reflect in any way their speed of deduction or action. It's just that they like to ponder things, to assess and formulate their views properly. Generally speaking, Snakes tend to be very careful about what they say.

Snake people like communicating, particularly interesting and challenging conversations; if the conversation becomes repetitive their attention may soon wander. It is almost impossible to fix their attention for long talking about mundane everyday habits as they prefer to focus on new, interesting and evolutionary ideas in general. The Snake needs mental exercise in a conversation or relationship.

In relationships with others, Snakes are possessive and very demanding. And yet at the same time, they view their associates with a certain distrust. They will never forgive anyone who breaks a promise. They are also prone to being neurotic, even paranoid, where pet fears and suspicions are concerned.

These people have a special talent that enables them to judge situations correctly. They are alert to new possibilities: when they have an idea of what to do and how to do it, they will pursue it persistently and energetically. The Snake is at home in any social situation, able to adapt and converse on all levels. In Chinese astrology it is believed that they are self-confident, driven, focused and willing to listen to someone else's opinion, but don't necessarily take it 'on board'. Refusing to listen to constructive advice; intelligent and headstrong. They treasure their privacy and will have many a dark secret locked up within.

Although it is difficult for such people to take advice, they are patient and compassionate with others when it comes to giving a helping hand, and their ability to look at a problem from a variety of angles is extremely useful. When faced with a dilemma, Snake people, as a rule, act with speed and conviction, since they believe intensely in what they are doing and rarely waste time or energy on projects lacking in good potential.

The best partners for the Snake will be the dependable Ox, the dauntless Rooster or the illustrious Dragon. Snakes can also do well with the tenacious Rat. Though the Rabbit, Pig, Sheep and Dog may not be able to work with Snakes.

In life, they know precisely how to use people and situations to his best advantage. There will be no holding them back as Snakes are destined for fame and fortune.

In times of confusion and trouble, the Snake person is a pillar of strength because he maintains a presence of mind. The Snake can deal with bad news and misfortune with great aplomb. They have a profound sense of responsibility and an unsinkable constancy of purpose. It will be this constancy of purpose coupled with a natural hypnotic charisma that could carry a Snake to the highest realms of power.

Years of the Snake:

4 February 1905 - 24 January 1906: Wood Snake
23 January 1917 - 10 February 1918: Fire Snake
10 February 1929 - 29 January 1930: Earth Snake
27 January 1941 - 14 February 1942: Metal Snake
14 February 1953 - 2 February 1954: Water Snake
2 February 1965 - 20 January 1966: Wood Snake
18 February 1977 - 6 February 1978: Fire Snake
6 February 1989 - 26 January 1990: Earth Snake
24 January 2001 - 11 February 2002: Metal Snake
10 February 2013 - 30 January 2014: Water Snake
2025 - 2026: Wood Snake
2037 - 2038: Fire Snake

Horse (Rin from Furuba): The horse personality is often willing to give as well as expect a lot of liberty. These people are extremely independent and confident. The horse person is very quick-witted, inquisitive and determined. They are very good at recognizing patterns: she or he is on to the thought in your mind even before you've expressed it. In general, these people are gifted. They adore being the center of everyone's attention, but they prefer to be recognized for their skills and are easily flattered. On the other hand these people have an honesty and genuine warmth which attracts lots of people and helps them make new friends. People as a rule confide in a horse person because he/she is sincerely interested in their thoughts and feelings and is able to help with both wise words and an action, but there is a small problem about it - the horse person is so excited by new discoveries that it is difficult for them to keep a secret. This is not something that arises out of malice or revenge - sometimes they just cannot help themselves.
It is easy to inspire such a person by new ideas and he/she tends to act on them without delay, carried away by the excitement of the moment. But it is also important to remember that there is a danger for a horse person to be too impulsive and it may cause some problems in the future. And if they do not see the result of their efforts, it is rather natural for them to turn their attention to a new project and head off once again, brimming with new ideas. The horse person is always ready to offer good advice and can be very persuasive, but his/her confident and carefree approach hides inner doubts. Those who know such a person will recognize this, and offer the support and reassurance he/she needs. Males born under the year of the Horse are considered charming and attractive to members of the opposite sex.

Horses should beware of the Rat, as any relationship with this sign is said to be extremely trying for the horse. Of all relationships between Chinese zodiac signs, a relationship between a rat and a horse is said to be the worst. The rat may just be too calculating, dictatorial and possessive for the free-spirited and independent horse. A relationship with a rat can potentially break down the horse's free-spirit and cause rage in the rat - as neither will be willing to yield to the other. Rats and Horses will attract each other like no other. Male Horses, especially, will find the female Rat irresistible, though they always bring out the worst in each other. Horses do get along great with Tigers, Sheep and Dogs.

Possible professions for people that are born on the year of the horse are that of a journalist, engineer, architect, a writer or novelist, an actor or a model.

Years of the Horse:

25 January 1906 - 12 February 1907: Fire Horse
11 February 1918 - 31 January 1919: Earth Horse
30 January 1930 - 16 February 1931: Metal Horse
15 February 1942 - 4 February 1943: Water Horse
3 February 1954 - 16 February 1955: Wood Horse
21 January 1966 - 8 February 1967: Fire Horse
7 February 1978 - 27 January 1979: Earth Horse
27 January 1990 - 14 February 1991: Metal Horse
12 February 2002 - 31 January 2003: Water Horse
2014 - 2015: Wood Horse
2026 - 2027: Fire Horse

Ram, Sheep, Goat (Hero from Furuba): The Sheep, or Goat, is thought to be the most artistic or creative sign of the zodiac. The Sheep is artistically talented and has a great sense of fashion. Chances are that this type will prefer to be a designer or painter, or go into the kind of profession where he/she can make the most of his/her gift for creating beautiful things.

These people are extremely beautiful creatures - they think before acting, and try not to hurt anyone's feelings. If it ever happens that the Sheep person causes unforeseen problems, it is very likely that he/she will step forward to rectify the situation. This side of their character helps them maintain a healthy social life as well as enabling them to deal with life's ups and downs.

Sympathy is very important to these people as is the approval of people they respect. However, they sometimes require too much attention and impose too much on those who are close to them.

In his life he will need strong and loyal people to lean on. The outgoing and optimistic characteristics of the Horse, Boar and Tiger will complement his personality. He will also find perfect harmony with the Rabbit. Monkey, Dragon, Rooster, Snake or another Sheep will do very nicely together, too.

The Rat will dislike the Sheep's spendthrift ways and lack of self-denial. The Sheep will not find sympathy or happiness with the stern people of the Ox year or the practical Dog persons, who will have no patience to listen to the Sheep's petty woes.

Sometimes they are too sensitive for the real world; they often misinterpret situations. They can also be very shy, especially in front of those they like. People under this sign can be insecure. They need to feel loved and protected and are easily drawn into complex predicaments. This being so, they usually shy away from confrontation, pull back when faced with heavy decision-making, and blatantly refuse to take an unpopular stand in a conflict.

Years of the Ram:

13 February 1907 - 1 February 1908: Fire Sheep
1 February 1919 - 19 February 1920: Earth Sheep
17 February 1931 - 5 February 1932: Metal Sheep
5 February 1943 - 24 January 1944: Water Sheep
24 January 1955 - 11 February 1956: Wood Sheep
9 February 1967 - 29 January 1968: Fire Sheep
28 January 1979 - 15 February 1980: Earth Sheep
15 February 1991 - 3 February 1992: Metal Sheep
1 February 2003 - 21 January 2004: Water Sheep
2015 - 2016: Wood Sheep
2027 - 2028: Fire Sheep

Monkey (Ritsu from Furuba): The Monkey is the most versatile sign of the Chinese zodiac. Such people are often inventors, plotters, entertainers and the creative geniuses behind anything ingenious, including mischief. They have natural quick-wittedness which enables them to understand what is happening and then make a right decision. Even during a conversation a person born in this year is aware of what is going on around him/her, and then makes a mental note of who said what and stores it away for future reference. In general, with their agile minds and multiple talents, monkey types can master any subject. They are reliable and honest people so that any secret is safe in their hands. These people are also honest in their dealings and are very good at problem-solving: knowing how to listen closely and work out solutions at the same time.

Although these people are trustworthy and unlikely to hurt someone out of spite, they would never let people escape if they have behaved badly or damaged a monkey's reputation. Their stamina and determination to achieve their main goals can make these people appear vain or manipulative. People born under this sign should be careful so they do not damage their friendships. It is important to remember for these persons that it would be wiser sometimes not to pursue their goals and simply let things pass.

Monkeys have flexible principles and serene self-confidence so they are completely content; but they usually manage to complicate the lives of others. After yet another plan or project has gone wrong, they are seldom there to help clean up the disorder and confusion that they leave in their wake. Monkeys can handle that too; with their charm and persuasiveness they can make people believe that just knowing them is a privilege.

Years of the Monkey:

2 February 1908 - 21 January 1909: Earth Monkey
20 February 1920 - 7 February 1921: Metal Monkey
6 February 1932 - 25 January 1933: Water Monkey
25 January 1944 - 12 February 1945: Wood Monkey
12 February 1956 - 30 January 1957: Fire Monkey
30 January 1968 - 16 February 1969: Earth Monkey
16 February 1980 - 4 February 1981: Metal Monkey
4 February 1992 - 22 January 1993: Water Monkey
22 January 2004 - 8 February 2005: Wood Monkey
2016 - 2017:
Fire Monkey
2028 - 2029:
Earth Monkey

Rooster (Kureno from Furuba): People born in the year of the Rooster are usually very observant. They are brave, resilient and tenacious but can also be quite self-absorbed, pretentious, and overly romantic. Most of the time, they are very accurate and precise with their observation.

These people certainly love to find themselves in the spotlight, they love entertaining friends and adore meeting new people, and even unexpected and uncertain circumstances are not a barrier for them.

It is almost impossible to find someone born in this year looking dowdy or untidy. The fact is that these people are usually the best dressed and groomed of all other people. They are actively interested in clothes, colours, and accessories, and are usually very critical of their own appearance as well as of the appearance of those around them. People born in the year of the Rooster like to be noticed and flattered. Such a person might dress a little flashy with this in mind, but in his heart, he/she is completely conservative. Roosters always appear attractive and beautifully turned out. They are sociable and love to receive attention. Others may criticize them for being exhibitionists but the fact that they are compassionate, wise, and have a brave nature which comes to the fore when others need their help, makes up for that deficiency.

Roosters are very loyal individuals. They do not like dishonesty or mockery of any sort. They are blunt, up front and honest people and expect those around them to be the same. Roosters are happiest when they are surrounded by others, at a party or just a social gathering. They even enjoy the spotlight and will exhibit their charisma and wit in a minute. This star quality can be overbearing, for a Rooster expects you to listen to him while he speaks and can become agitated if you don't. Roosters do have a tendency to brag about themselves and their achievements and demand an attentive audience when doing so.

It is difficult for these people to accept advice because of their strong independent spirit. These people are often confident in their own judgment and choices. There are times when these people may be too straight-forward which can cause some problems in relationships with others. So it would be wise sometimes not to express their opinions in order to keep the peace. Roosters can drive people away with their need to be right if they cannot relax and let the other person have a say.

They are most compatible with an Ox, Dragon or Snake and incompatible with a Rabbit

Dog (Tohru and Shigure form Furuba): Like his animal namesake, he is Loyal. He is the one who people are most likely to turn to when they need help. The dog person will come through every time. That is because he/she is sensitive to others and empathizes with them, particularly if someone has suffered an injustice; he/she reacts quickly with the same feeling as though he/she had been personally offended. Friends know that they can rely upon their Dog friend to keep a promise or remain cool in a crisis. Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dogs are also considered to be extremely good looking, smart, graceful, likeable and nice.

Dog types are honest, intelligent and straightforward. They will take on any responsibility that is given to them and you can be sure that they will do their job well.

People born in this year tend to be difficult, upset and shocked more often than the other signs.
Dog types do not tolerate weakness. They will work to push the weakness or the whole person with weakness out of their lives (the pack) if the behavior continues.
Dogs ideal jobs: politician, scientist, actor/actress, teacher, writer, movie director, secret agent

Years of the Dog:

10 February 1910 - 29 January 1911: Metal Dog
28 January 1922 - 15 February 1923: Water Dog
14 February 1934 - 2 February 1935: Wood Dog
2 February 1946 - 21 January 1947: Fire Dog
18 February 1958 - 7 February 1959: Earth Dog
6 February 1970 - 26 January 1971: Metal Dog
25 January 1982 - 12 February 1983: Water Dog
9 February 1994 - 30 January 1995: Wood Dog
29 January 2006 - 17 February 2007: Fire Dog
2018 - 2019: Earth Dog
2030 - 2031: Metal Dog

Pig, Boar (Kagura from Furuba): The Pig type is usually an honest, straightforward and patient person. They are a modest, shy character who prefers to work quietly behind the scenes. When others despair, they are often there to offer support. This type of person is reserved with those they do not know too well, but as time passes and they gain confidence, those around them may discover a lively and warm-hearted person behind that mask of aloofness. Despite those born in the year of pig having a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, they have few close friends who understand them and share their inner thoughts and feelings. It is easy to put trust in pig type; they won't let you down and will never even attempt to do so. Such people simply want to do everything right according to social norms.

It is important to remember that these people are not vengeful creatures. If someone tries to take advantage of them, the pig type tend to withdraw to reflect on the problem and protect themselves. All they need in such situations is a little time to find a constructive way to respond. The people of the pig type are conservative creatures of habit. They dislike being made to travel too far from familiar surroundings, unless it is a trip to the countryside. They love nature and are never happier than when they are out somewhere, far from the city.

There is a tolerant and peaceful side to their character. Such people are never afraid to allow others their freedom of expression; they do not want to cause arguments and if there is any way to avoid arguing, they will probably take this option. However, they are not weak and if the situation forces them to fight these people will rise to the occasion, whether it is to defend themselves or those close to them.

Years of the Boar:

30 January 1911 - 17 February 1912: Metal Pig
16 February 1923 - 4 February 1924: Water Pig
4 February 1935 - 23 January 1936: Wood Pig
22 January 1947 - 9 February 1948: Fire Pig
8 February 1959 - 27 January 1960: Earth Pig
27 January 1971 - 14 February 1972: Metal Pig
13 February 1983 - 1 February 1984: Water Pig
31 January 1995 - 18 February 1996: Wood Pig
18 February 2007 - 6 February 2008: Fire Pig
5 February 2019 - 24 January 2020: Earth Pig
2031 - 2032: Metal Pig
2043 - 2044: Water Pig

Thank goodness for Wikipeidia! I also read an articel from the official Fruits Basket website that said; "Pigs are honest, reliable, sincere, tolerant, shy, affectionate, kind, impulsive and short tempered. They are splendid companions, intellectuals with a very strong need to set difficult goals and carry them out. In addition they are extraordinarily naive. Their unquenchable thirst for knowledge will facilitate their success whereas their quest for material comfort will frustrate it. Pigs also wiil sacrifice their lives for good causes.". Wich makes me wonder if I'm part pig or just brave in the sence that I probabally would give my life for another. I probabally would give my life for any person in my familey, and some of my friends; Christine and Jonathan mostley. Maby I do have some Boar in me. Beause I would fight to the death for em' too! I would challenge a person who beat on them even though I know I would not win. Is this Boar or just braveness? It's hard to tell... I've had a few dreams that someone bad was telling me to choose between Christine and Jonathan, one of my friends to live the other to die. And I was like"Take me instead and let them go!" so, he did take me but then they both joined together and saved me... Maby this will make a good manga... Geeze this post is getting long! Oh well till next post! Sayanora!

Miki Falls

Today I went to Boarders and was looking at books. After I found Vampirates 3: Blood Captain I found the manga isle. I've never been in one. It's a hard thing to confess, being a manga and anime fanatic. But, yes it's true. I usually borrow anime from the library or read it online. So this is the first manga I've ever bought! I feal like a cool kid! I want to start buying them instead of waiting for the library to come out with it (usually 6-12 months from the release date). This is a four volume series, the first book is Spring the second is Summer, third is Autumn, fourth is Winter ect. This is the main story for the first book:

"Miki Yoshida’s final year of high school has begun, and she’s intrigued by Hiro Sakurai, the new boy in town. The problem is, Hiro wants nothing to do with Miki or in fact anyone else in their little town. Unfortunately for Hiro, Miki’s not going to take no for an answer. As she follows him around school and is determined to be his friend, though, she’s starting to realize that she may be in over her head. And when her fall happens, it could be a long one indeed."

I think it's kind of like Twilight because, like the main characters there's one person who seems cold in the beginning and starts to loosen up near the end of the book. I will probably have Christine read this book. I'll want it back of course. After that I went to gymnastics... Which was fun but, I won't go into it that far. That's what My Flying Circus is for! Till next time, Sayorara!

It is very funny anime and makes me want to make a bento...^-^ It's kind of a kiddy Aime but, it's still pretty good! What will next week be? Till next post, Sayonara!

I'm back!

I'm back from my trip at sea! I'll have to do a 5 day in my life post when I get the pictures developed. But I'll tell you what I did now and pictureify it later.

July 7, Monday

Everyone took turnes raising people to the mast in a chair (it looked like a wooden swing). We mostley got associated with the crue and some of the campers. Japan intruduced me to a few of her friends from last year. Last year everyone gave each other country names:

Christine > Japan
Travis > Britin
Chris > Columbia
Rachel > Morroco
Ali > Africa
Hayley > Mexico
Bella > Cuba
Jeni > Finland
David > China
Me > Israel

I named Bella Cuba because she was rather small and fragile looking so that's like the total opposite of a Cuban! I was rather clever if I do say so myself! We got situated and figured out where we slept and unpacked. Afterwords we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Since I used to volunteer there (for about 1 year) you could tell that I didn't really want to go but, oh well. So as I was at the AOP I spotted a few people that I knew. Lily and Taylor. These are probably the last people I wanted to see at the Aquarium! I forgot that Monday is their usual shift! So I sneaked by hoping to be unnoticeable, mission accomplished! One thing has been knocked off my list!

July 8, Tuesday

We woke up and went to Shoreline Village and took showers just so we could have those few hours when we were clean! After that we were finally out at sea! It was a 4 hour boat ride to Avalon, Catalina. The ship was anchored and we took a small ferry to shore. Once we got there we had a scavenger hunt for stuff like: What time is the Sheriff Department open? and Where's City Hall?. So the girl team won that contest we didn't have to clean the heads today! There was 7 girls and 18 guys. The guys split into 2 teams to make it more even. After that was all done we headed back to the ship, were we had lunch. I'm not picky about food but, there was these sandwiches that were horrible! They consisted of processed cheese, ham and turkey. I had to eat at least some of it but, I could only bring myself to eat half. Christine was the same way. Probably because we're both Foodies. The rest of the day was pretty slow. We got to jump off the boat into the water! I stayed on the food sticky but some people went to 6 bars up (each bar was around a yard apart)! Christine and I took pictures of each other underwater with our Awesome Underwater Cameras (AUC for short)!

July 9, Wednesday

Today was a very bad day for me. I woke up and felt sick so I spent most of the day throwing up! Sounds fun doesn't it? While I was having a party in my bucket the rest of the campers went snorkeling and kayaking. I caught a second wind and decided to go kayaking! I had a lot of fun! Afterwords we went to a beach I forgot the name but, it was pretty nice (except for the sand fleas and bees)! We had another competition to see who cleans the heads today! The first thing was a kayak race around bouies! Japan and I dominated everyone so the girls won that leg! The other legs were: "Spinning around 15 times, then race around a paddle in the ground and try not to fall", "Skipping pebbles 35 times in the wake", "Covering a person up to the neck in sand and then building a sand castle on them"(Cuba forgot her swim suit so I was buried, I was the second smallest in the group), "Build a sea animal in the sand" (we built a Sea Cucumber), "Write 'American Pride' in the wake before it got erased by the waves", "Swim to the inflatable boat and back" (Christie owned this leg in the race! She used to swim in a team) and finally we had to tackle a crue member to the ground. That last part was made-up! So we won again! After that we played a little bit of dodge ball! I'm not good at it at all... One kid got Travis (Britain) in the face and chipped a tooth. It wasn't that bad though. So it went downhill from there one time I threw the ball and it bounced it got the Tooth Chipped in the groin!XD

July 1o, Thursday

Today we pulled anchor and sailed to Twin Harbors on the way we passed Bird Poop Rock (a small piece of land COVERED in bird poop)! We took another fairy to land. We helped bring food and balls and other supplies to shore for the day. This will be the longest I've been on land for awhile now... So soon after getting everything somewhat set up we went on a short hike. Our first stop Death Beach! We found a rotting dead seal! Just what I needed! So as we continue out hike we find people picking up skulls and such. We work our way to another beach and there's two trails we could take I decide to take the EXTREME one and drag Christine with me. So here we are almost hiking vertically up a hill... It was fun to go down though! We reach our destination, another beach! This one is a lot better though! There's a lot of rocks and such to climb on! I decided to just sit on one and take a break while Christine stayed up on the hill on a bench. The break was nice but, It didn't last long enough...As we were heading back (Christine and I took the low trail this time) one of the crue found Coyote Brush! It smells really good! Cowboys used to use it as something to cover up the delicious smell of being out in the sun and not taking a shower (showers were rather expensive back then). So Kurt rubbed it on Finland and everyone took turns sniffing her! It was funny but not as funny as my blue and green armpits (never wear Tye-Dye before washing it first)! I was missing my gymnastics class but, this was cool too. We head back the way we came and saw a Buffalo/Bison! It made Christine and I suddenly crave a Buffalo Burger! Like I said, we're Foodies! We went back through Death Beach and people were fishing for Leopard shark in a Leopard shark nursery. I only knew what they were fishing for because there already was a dead one by the fishers foot. After Kurt (one of the crue) made some comments about how that's wrong (but completely legal) we left. We got back to the camp site (whatever you'd call a place where you store all your junk for the day and has tables). There was Mustachieo (another one of the crue that everyone called Captain Crunch because of his awesome mustache) with some snorkeling gear. I didn't have a chance to go in Catalina so I went snorkeling here! Once Ali, Kurt, Hayley and I got into the wet sutes (this was the first time I've worn one!) we started realizing how funny we all looked (epically me) Ali looked like a model for some Billabong add Hayley looked like a serious diver and my suet was a little too big... I had a groin fold and a back Brest! It was pretty funny though! We finally got out into the water and Mustachieo decided he was going to wear just his speedo! I had a hard time not falling over and laughing until I passed out! It was hilarious! Just imagine a mustache in speedo shorts with tattoos and snorkeling gear!XD Once we got into the ocean we saw Garibaldi, Bat rays, Round rays, sea stars, lots and lots of kelp and Kurt found a HUDGE Sea Hair! He has a thing for them. It's a bit scary actually. The water was freezing and people took turns unzipping wet suites! It must have been 50 degrees (Fahrenheit)! We saw some kayakers, One of the people in the kayak thought I was a guy and bopped me on the head! It was funny though because this was before he was in the water and he said "Sorry if you're a girl I can't tell". Soon after that I flipped him over with a little help (I don't weigh enough to flip someone over by myself (I tried earlier)). Soon after that we headed back to shore, here's a tip for ya': It's easier if you take off your wet suet in the water. People were playing Jail break (a volleyball game). Instead of playing I took a shower Christine wanted to use flip flops but didn't pack any so I let her use mine. I jut put paper towels down on the floor of the shower when I went. Bella took a shower last. She went in the same one I did but, It wasn't working... Very odd because, I was just using it mabey 2 minutes before. So once we found a shower that worked she FINALLY got to take one! We forgot Christine's shorts in the bathroom when we left so she went back only to find that the people already cleaned! So she still hasn't found her shorts... We played Jailbreak for a little bit (I caught the ball once!!! Yay!). We did skits after that. The girls won! our skit mainly consists of Mustachieo and his speedo and Kurt marrying a Sea Hair. We had dinner and then watched a movie: Captain Rob. It was a funny movie! I cracked open a glow stick and it was as bright as one of those stadium lights!!! It didn't last that long though... Just about 6 hours I think.

July 11, Friday

Today we go home! At this point I was missing my cat Maneki verrrry much! Most of the day we were cleaning. I was polishing brass and copper. Mustachieo said that if you helped polish you could steer the ship. I didn't really care if I got to steer or not but, I'm one of those people that help out as much as possible. So I ended up polishing almost everything! I got to steer the ship after all I got to steer it into the harbor through the rocky gates and everything! Mustachieo and the Captain were telling me what to do, where to turn and everything! It was AWESOME! I was taught how to do a braid naught by Finland. So I was practicing that too. The Captain and crue wanted me to stay longer so I could finish polishing all the brass and copper. I know they were just joking but, I would've even if they weren't joking! We were finally in the dock and people were getting picked up. Christine got picked up first so I had more time to practice my naught. And play a little more Shithead, pronounced Shith-eed. Sometimes people call this game Anchores away too. I was picked up by my mom, brother and dog. Soon after I got home I took a shower and ate fo' real food! The end.

Lucky Star

I found a lucky star kit in an Asian mall. I didn't buy it but, it looked interesting so I looked up how to make origami lucky stars... Mine kind of looked like a flattened penny/-_-\. They're a lot harder than they look! I also tried to make a paper crane which also turned out horrible! I can make water bombs and cups pretty well though! I guess 2/4 isn't that bad. I bet when you saw this post you thought of Lucky Star the anime series! Haha tricked you! that was a good series though... Till next time, Sayonara! =(^-^)=

Anyways, The big middle one is steak and beef and the top left one is Lychee and the top right one is Strawberry! =(^-^)= It kind of looks angry... I should make some more... Anyways this is a short post so I guess i should make it longer.

This is a delicious meal mom and I made. Mmm beef bowl! Brown rice, broccoli and steak!

This is all the Jams that My Flying Circus and Dried Papercuts and Chickens made us! There's so many and they keep making more! I need to start eating more toast!

Mmm pizza there's a pizza place by my house called Pizza Rosa! It's a family owned pizza shop and it's the real Italian food! They have other stuff besides pizza like bread sticks and meatballs!

This is my cat Maneki! She likes to sit in font of the computer so all eyes are on her! She's so cute though and she's always happy! She never stops purring! =(^-^)=

I thought I'd add this too! It still falls under food because a spider decided to make food of my leg! It got a little swollen :p it's all better now though! Till next post, Sayonara!

A day in my life (without pictures)

Today my family and I are going to My Flying Circus' house so we could celebrate her dad's birthday! We got him good! I can't wait to see his face when he opens his present! And later on tonight is I Survived a Japanese Game Show on TV! Wipeout is a good show too but, you know me. I love Japanese things! Besides that I've had an okay day.
My alarm clock went off at 8:00am. I don't have anything to do in the morning I just want to get into the habit of getting up early for the classes I signed up for in Fall. So after turning my alarm off I decided to go back to sleep...I finally woke-up at 9:30am. I was REALLY tired. I don't know why but, maby I'll finally get taller or something. That would be AWSOME.
Anyways...After eating breakfast which consisted of granola bars (I was too sleepy to make eggs and rice) I went to the pool with my mom and brother. We swam for awhile and I got darker (not by much though). So now my tan lines are different they seem to change every time I go swimming probably because I wore a different swim suet today.
I decided I wanted to make (sew) a Pucca and Garu doll. I want to make a onigiri (Japanese bento food, usually made of rice, nori and red bean paste or pickled plum) doll too. It'll kinda look like THIS if it turnes out as planned. I think I'll add arms and legs too. Till next time, Sayonara!

The end of Haruhi...

AHHH! I hate it when a good anime ends... I just finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... The last episode is AWESOME though.. There's 14 episodes in all (that's WAY too short for me). I guess the writer has to cut the series short so the plot stays good but, Bleach is still going strong with 300+ episodes! Hmm....What should I work on next? I have a list that I'll update frequently. Well every time I finish a new anime. I'll probably just update the list right after i finish writing this. Till next time, Sayonara.

Kagura Tan!

Today I went to the pool for a few hours. I forgot to put on sunscreen but, I don't really burn that easily. So after I was done swimming I took a shower and found out that I just got 3 shades darker! I look REALLY Mexican right now! My tan lines are almost as diffrent as Kagura's from Azumanga Daioh (Kagura is the one on the right)! I didn't know I could get so dark! O_O AMAZING! Anyways I went to a Asian mall the other day it was AWSOME! Afterwards I went to Anime King and bought a Haruhi figurine sadly it was the Bunnie Haruhi/-_-\ That would've been great if I was a guy. Till next time, Sayonara!

The Melacnocholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The latest anime in my brain (and on the computer) is "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"! It's a REALLY awsome anime! Right now i'm on episode 6. By the way if you were wondering what onnoko means, it means girl in Japanese. So my URL and title is Anime Girl! I love anime soo much! I try to draw it but, usually fail....Except for the Ichigo drawing Idid! That was the one exception. I mostly draw anime people. Back to Haruhi this is a funny serious about a girl (Haruhi) that constantally searches for "Aleians, Time-travelers and Espers". She doesn't realize that all 3 of those are in the SOS Bragade. And then there's Kyon but, who cares about him. Gotta Love Breath turned me on to this series. Origato gozaimasu Gotta Love Breath-senpai! (Thank you very much, Gotta Love breath!). I think i'll go wach another episode now! Sayonara!

Fall semester AND life update!

Last Saturday was the FIRST day of summer!!! YAY! It's going to get even hotter (if possible). I also went on a Asian spree last night! I looked up every person I knows name on Babelfish and JNT.com. I was just THAT awesome except I forgot Kaleb (only 1 person!) so I'll look him up after I finished this post. Anyways, I singed up for Japanese classes and Japanese Culture in the Fall semester! I am really excited for them! I just re did my home page too! now the URL is animeonnoko and now the background is a lotus tree! One day I want to move to Japan and open a Cafe'/Bakery with my friend! ^-^ This is after culinary school though. I wish I could go to a Japanese High School /-_-\ oh well. I wonder if they're like how they are in Anime. I'd get to wear a Sailor Fuku too! I'm going to try to sew a Sailor fuku top because, I couldn't find one in my price range or size in anime sores or online. It's the curse of having a short torso /-_-\. I started making these onigiri emote's on the computer! Aren't they cute? =(^-^)=

Ichigo Drawing!

I DREW THIS (for my bro)!!!! I feal like I can draw almoast as good as Rhonda! I got the thing of the internet but, I drew it freehanded so, that's good enough for me! I'm working on a new vid with all of my good drawings on it! It's pretty good for 3AM huh? ^-^

Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan

I receantally finished the series Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan! It's AWESOME!!! It's kind of innaproprate though. So if you're a small child I wouldn't suggest waching it because there's a lot of gore among other things. Wink! Wink! Nudge! Nudge! ^-^ There's 9 episodes of season 1 and there's 4 episodes of season 2 so far.... But, this is a relitivally new series (2005-2007). It's verry funny though! In a diffrent sort of way. I should srsly draw her!

EVERYTHING!!!

I went to Arizona for vacation and to Tombstone and Sedona. Mom, Dad, Cam and I went to Slide Rock Park ($10 for vehicle (4 ppl)) It was SO AWESOME! And we went to old saloons and stuff.

Now back to the future....

I feal as though I need to do a Bazillion things! Even though my ASL classes ended (they ended on the 5Th). I'm writing a manga called Vampire Suki or Suki Vampire (I haven't decided yet..) and I need to work on that. I also want to find the old, for real me. I kinda' started acting like the people I hang around but, I want to be the old me again. So now I have to work on that too... I want to make more videos on PhenomenonU. My YouTube account. I need to start updating my blog like Christine does (like every day). Get stronger and make my bro's B-day cake. A weird hat type of thing. Aaand figure out what classes to take in the Fall. So far the only one I've decided is Japanese! AHHHHH! I feal so busy already! Oh, and I'm going to go ride my bike to go get the Sunday paper at the seven-eleven tomorrow! Well I kinda like riding my bike XD. I have a LOT of anime series I started waching too. Like: Twin Spica, School Rumble: Ni Genki, Rumbling Hearts...I could go on forever. My anime role model is Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket (Furuba)! I want to be like her (I kind of was but, I had the temper of Kyo ^-^). I want to be as kind as Honda-Chan but, as strong as Sohma-Kun....But, I have fangs too.. (no literally my eye teeth are fangs, naturally). I need to wake-up earlier.

I'm a Baaadd Puttycat!

I finally got a kitten she's so adoralble! Her name's Maneki Neko (or Maneki for short), she's a Tabby. When I try to sleep she likes to punce on my leg and bite my hands and such... I have a few scars now (not as much and Jon has form Sandracula though)... Oh well the cat can get away with it because she's soooooo adorable!!! =(^-^)= <----Anime Neko (Cat). I'll defanentally have to re-do this post when I take a pic of the adorable kitten! --I did!

11 People

Name 11 people you can think of right off the top of your head.Don't read the questions underneath until you write the names of all 11 people. This is a lot funnier if you actually randomly list the names first ..... No cheating.

1. Christine
2. Jonathan
3. Mom
4. Ryan
5. Russell
6. Rhonda
7. Dad
8. Nick
9. Cameron
10. Tommy
11. Kaleb

How did you meet #4? I met him at Disney during 'Colourful Pants day'.

What would you do without #6? Probably be kinda' sad.

What would you do if #2 and #6 were going out? I'd be very confused. o_O

April Fools!

Happy April Fool's day! Have fun pulling pranks on people! I have a good prank! Tape a piece of paper on the bottom of a computer mouse! Or you could put green food dye in milk or creamer. So when somebody wakes up and pours a glass of milk into their cereal they'll think it's expired. This basically goes the same in the creamer when somebody makes coffee. Gross, I don't like coffee. Or I guess you could do the traditional 'Kick Me' sign... I guess you could also put plastic wrap over the mouth of shampoo bottles...XD I'm clever today!

July trip

In July I'm going on this AWESOME ship trip! I am soooo pumped! It kinda helps that I'm going with a friend. Any ways the ship's a old restored Schooner and there's a lot of stuff to do! Like, kayaking, volleyball, swimming, and a whole bunch of other stuff! I AM SO PUMPED! Okay, enough bragging... It's just I've never been to a camp before. Not Girl Scouts or a Summer Camp either. That's probably why I'm so pumped it's a whole new experience! And I'll be out at see for 5 days!

Chibi Time!

I was over at my friend's house and she had a few chibi and manga books. So we were drawing chibi for a loooooooong while. Christine drew Chibus (Chibi Jesus). And I drew a crazy cat loving person (kind of like myself). I really like cats. Crazy Cat Lady Chalupa!XD Sounds pro to me! I guess the drawing I have on this post isn't really chibish at all. Oh well, it's a cat!
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Arrows and threes or hearts? O_o

1st Beach Day 2008!

Friday was the first beach day of 08', it was a lot of fun ( I wish my all of my friends could have came). I was really pumped the day before I was listening to the Beach Boys the whole time! the Beach Boys are awsome!XD

The water was REALLY cold. It must have been 50 degrees. I seriously need to learn how to duck dive. I have the habbit to be at the wrong spot at the wrong time when a wave comes rolling allong. My friend Christine is about 4 inches taller than me just enough so that she doesn't get knocked down as easy. It would be really awsome if I could grow a few inches this comeing summer too.

Another beautiful thing was that I put on a lot of sunblock and still manadged to get burnt pretty good! I thoght I'd just tan (I usually get pretty tan in the Summer). Good thing my mom has an Aloe Veara plant in the back yard. It keeps growing and growing

Animeless

<>
I found a few websites that have some Fruits Basket videos and Azumanga Daioh. I found out that those are dead-end anime (the series ends leaving you on a string). So now i'm kinda' sad. Great, now I'm animeless:(. I looked up:

-Kaito Saint Tail

-YoTsubasa!

-Kare Kano

Mega-frowny town. If you know any pro anime shows post a comment or something. Hmmm....I'll keep looking for a better show that doesn't leave y9u on a string.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Have fun trying to find the bunnies' eggs. Haha bunnies don't lay eggs, stupid. I think this picture pretty much explains what rabbits look like around this time of year. All the children are picking up bunnies to see if they laid eggs. I like the bayonet on the rabbit's gun! Clever Bunnie XD.

I usually do something for Easter but, this year I didn't do anything (I win!). I used to go to my Grahm's house or my Nana's. And have an Easter Egg Hunt with my brother. I don't really celebrate Easter anyway! Hence I win AGAIN!

A few good things about Easter (really only one in my book) is the FOOD! Ham, eggs, some sort of vegetables and a LOT of chocolate! Sounds good to me. My brother eats so much candy you'd think his blood sugar level is a thousand! And I guess Jesus was re-born today too. I really could care less.

Bento

BENTO! I've been making bentos for my dad lately for work. The one on the top right has: a vegitable bun (dim sum), brow rice, eggs, an orange, Stikko (it's like strawberry wafer sticks), and a Lychee berry soda! The problem with the soda is that it has a little ball that you have to push down to open it so sometimes it kinda explodes everywhere.

This one has: meat balls, brown rice, carrots, spinach, Shitaki mushrooms soy sauce, and Lychee berries.
The one on the right has: pork and spinach geyozias, brown rice (like always), apple slices, bamboo shoots covered in dark soy sauce, and Panda Strawberry Cookies.

ASL classes

Sorry, I haven't been writing much lately in my blog. I've had a lot of reports lately with my new class I'm taking. I'm taking American Sign Language: Class 1. I'm picking this up quite well if I may say so myself. It helps that I have a friend that is already in ASL 3 or 4. I forgot which one she's in. I already written a 'relay paper' and a 'order in person paper'. The main thing in the relay paper is using Relay (http://www.ip-relay.com/). Relay is kinda like IMing but, for deaf people. But, the Order in person paper you had to order some food or beverage and write down your order on a piece of paper. Like a deaf person would in day to day life surrounded by hearing people...

Band day

I was at DL (Disney land) and everyone in the Teens group dressed up like pro kids from a rock band. We couldn't decide what to name the band I thought the name 'Racially Confused' was pretty awesome but, 'The Cancerous Lumps' is clever too... So we didn't ever name the band. I played the tambourine and Christine was playing the finger symbols. Nick was playing a maraca I think. And Russell was the lead singer (oh dear) it was pretty bad over all but, we looked like we came straight from a rock concert. It was a lot of fun.

Disney Land Band

Yes! We HXC kids are going to play as a band at Disneyland (Unnoficaly of course...)! I'll write another entry then. So i'm playing the Tamborene (I could sing too but, somebody else is)...My friend is playing the Finger Symbols... And, I really don't know what else anybody is playing.. I should write a song... I haven't wrote a song in soo long. See ya' on the Flip Side!

Furuba!

I've been reading a LOT of Fruits Basket (or as most fans named it Furuba ! I'm at book 14. Oh, and the pic on the left was actually Inuyasha based but, someone drew the characters from Furuba as the people from Inuyasha (how clever). The one with the orange hair is Kyo (the cat), the one with brown hair on the right is Kagura (the boar), the yellow haired one is Momiji (the rabbit), the one with the staff is Shigure (the dog), the female int the middle of the drawing is Tohru Honda (just a regular High-School girl), the silver haired one with the fur is Yuki (the rat) and the one allllll the way on the left is Ayame (the snake and Yuki's older brother). The book has Aime (Japanese cartoons) too! The book is based on the Chinese zodiac (even though it's Japanese...) hence, the characters also being animals... If any of the members of the Sohma family gets hugget by the opposite gender they turn into their animal. And the cat isn't actually part of the Zodiac... See the Rat and all the other animals of the Zodiac were informed of a banquet that would happen in a few days so the Rat decided to trick the cat into thinking that the banquet was the day after it really was so the cat overslept and missed it....So the Cat didn't count as one on the Zodiac... So sad...

Sweeny Todd

I've been reading the book "Sweeny Todd" It's pretty amazing! I'm going to see the movie after I read the book. But, I'm pretty sure the book is better than the movie (it usually is). I'm also reading A Midsummer's Night Dream and Romeo and Juliet (might as well read some Shakespeare books too. I like the classics). I'm about half way through Sweeny. Or as Mrs. Lovett likes to call him Mr. T., Imagine the REAL Mr. T as a barber... Hold still FOOL... Good times. What could be a better movie than one with the actor Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow) and directed by Tim Burton (Jack Skellington)? Anyway, the book is called 'Sweeny Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street' I really suggest you go and read it.

Bowling Birthday

I know the pic. is"... kinda, big"... Anyways, It was one of my friend's little bro's birthday (did ya' follow that?) he decited to bowl for his B-Day. As anybody who was at the bowling ally knows, I am the gutter QUEEN! But, I got a srike or two so i'm good. Once, the ball went in the gutter and spun back out and hit TWO PINS (heck YES)! So, the birhtday boy was asking how I did that I wouldn't tell him (espically because I didn't really know).

Disneyland

I miss Disneyland my friends and I used to go all the time... But, I got a pass again! So now I can go (if it isn't a block out day)! WOO! I kinda miss when California Screamin' and Space Mountain where ROCKIN' but, unfortuanatally that ended... But Jack is back! Halloween Haunt jets Jacked around Christmastime, If you've ever wached The Nightmare Before Christmas you know why but, if you haven't... Jack Skellington (the Pumpkin King) "Grows so tired of the same old thing". You'd just have to see it I don't want to spoil it ^_^.

One of my friends and I used to ride Thunder Mountain ALL the time but, now we can't (my friend moved to Texas). Anyways...That was 'our' ride, I guess it still kinda' is. I need to get a ride to Texas one of these days...

The Vegetable Orchestra

Vegetable as something other than salad? HARDCORE! They all sound really lame but, when put together they don't sound half bad... Kinda' weird huh? You'd think that it would sound pretty bad because, singled out they sound bad but, that's not the case I guess it's like a double negative or in this case a hundred negative or something like that...

Ninja Day!!!

Happy Ninja day!!! This is my newest video on YouTube. Here's a "Breif" history of Ninja Day: In 2003, the creators of Ninja Burger declared that December 5 would be celebrated as Day of the Ninja. On this day, people are encouraged to dress as ninja, engage in ninja-related activities, and spread information on ninja online. December 5 was originally chosen because December 5, 2003 marked the release of Tom Cruise's film The Last Samurai (which featured a scene where samurai battled ninja). Since then the focus has shifted towards the more familiar Pirates versus Ninjas conflict, and the day has served as a virtual counterpoint to International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

The first year's events were small, but in 2004 the holiday gained international support from a group of French performers, who staged elaborate ninja poses in front of famous landmarks (such as the Eiffel Tower).[2] This led to increased press coverage from, among other things, the French Disney magazine Picsou.[3] The holiday drew support from the popular Ask a Ninja website in 2006; a podcast on November 30 of that year discussed an alternative explanation for the holiday's origin, set 1400 years ago.[4] The release of the Ask a Ninja DVD was timed to coincide with that year's Day of the Ninja (Dec. 5, 2006), and helped garner additional press coverage.[5][6] The DVD release party itself was heavily covered by the "blogosphere", with numerous references to the Day of the Ninja.[7][8][9] Perhaps not coincidentally, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was also released on DVD on December 5, 2006; the Ask a Ninja website had already added to the Pirates vs Ninjas meme when "the Ninja" gave a blistering review of the film in an earlier podcast.

2007 saw official acknowledgment from the press including NPR's Morning Edition[10], as well as a coordinated ninja-themed video game announcement from EA[11] and the official release of the Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball website. G4 Network's Attack of the Show also celebrated 2007's Day of the Ninja by replacing usual host Kevin with the "Ask a Ninja" Ninja.

Another site, ninjaday.org, has independently declared December 5 as International Creep Like a Ninja Day. Other possible names include Stalk Like a Ninja Day, Sneak Like a Ninja Day, Move Like a Ninja Day[12], or simply Ninja Day[13] (the last of which redirects to the official page). According to the official website, this site and others of its kind are unrelated to Ninja Burger or the original Day of the Ninja website, although their efforts are supported.[14]

Incidentally, December 5th is also the day on which Sinterklaas is celebrated in the Netherlands. In Belgium this is on the morning of December 6th.

Halloween Dance

Disturbing? HECK YES! That's "Misty" from Pokémon. And the person with an R on his shirt is "James" from Team Rocket! And if you have no clue what Pokémon is there's something wrong with you I mean COME ON it's on TV all the time! Ha "James" dyed his hair with Kool-Aid. I probably only worked because his hair was really light blonde. The person at the car is not dressed up at all...But, who can tell unless they know him.

And this is the Jester! She SO should've worn that to Halloween Haunt. Her coller has BELLS! Too bad one fell off...A lot of things went missing that dace, "Jesse's" earring, one of the bracelets I was waring and the Jester's bell (Actually I think she found it again..). And the reason I don't have a picture of me is because Blogger wouldn't download it, LAME.

Team Rocket! Jesse! "Surrender now or prepare to fight Meoth that's rite!". "Jesse" is the person in front. Ash Kechem (as in Gotta' Kechem' all HAHAH).Is on the right and "Meoth" is on the left..Yeah, That was a pro dance... XD HARDCORE!
