This is another anime I've had my eye on ever since I first read the first book of manga, at my local library. I was automatically taken in by the storyline's simplicity and easy-to-readness (<--Not really a real expression..). Right now I'm on episode 2 out of 13. I feal so happy because I can understand most of the Japanese in the anime! I probably don't even need the English subbs, but then again, they are helpful when I don't know what they're saying... Oh well. Here is the opening theme song from Mamotte! Lollipop: "Poppin' Heart ha Hitotsu Dake?" - Clover

HAPPY!!!
And then there was...
THE DENTIST!!!
I have a sort of dentist/tooth phobia (as my brother well knows, making sure to use every last one of his loose teeth as a way to penetrate my un-penetrable field of toughness...) I FLIP OUT, when I hear to oh-so-frightening noises of teeth wiggling..*shivers* NOT COOL! So no one better get any ideas, kay? I had no cavities (once again, for the 9Th year in a row). I've only had one when I was little. You're probably wondering "Why is she so afraid of the dentist when she's only been under the drill once?"... Almost EVERY time I've been to the dentist is so they can remove a compacted tooth, 2 semi-molars and 2 eye teeth removed WITH Novocaine and 4 semi-molars WITHOUT NOVOCAINE!!! That was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, so I went straight from the dentist to Disney land to hang out with friends. I still had goz in my mouth though (that's how fast I went from death to cake (Death or cake is a comedy act my friends and I use a lot, meaning that things went from Death to well... better than death)! So just make sure to ALWAYS get Novocaine...

Quick update: Guitar lessons

Camp Rock
Okay, okay I know what you're thinking... "What in the wild world of sports is going on?" But yes, I did actually watch Camp Rock from the Disney channel. And I found it much inspirational and a bit confusing. It made me want to take voice class and pick up piano again along with the guitar (acoustic of course). Not to be self-flattering but, I do have a pretty good voice. And I've recently found out that I can hit more notes and different types of singing. I think I'll ask Coach Cheese to go with me to a Karaoke place and see what all those voice lessons have done this semester. I still really would like to hear her voice. I haven't heard it once since I've met her (almost 2 years ago, this March).
Now here's the confusing part, I somewhat wish to be *shivers*....normal. I see what all these people look like and I kind of like their uniform style... But, then again I do like my baggy boy pants and a spaghetti strap shirt too... And I've really wanted to dye my hair a Kagami purple. It would be nice if I had green eyes for that though. I'm pretty sure green eyes plus light purple hair equals complete awesomeness. The only reason I haven't changed my hair color is because, 1 My dad doesn't like dyed hair for some weird reason. and 2 because I'd have to bleach it first, and then my hair won't be all nice and soft like it is now. I mean how can "normal" and my weird purple hair and ponytail fetish go together? I have no idea! Until I find out how that can work I bid you a do'.

Musical...woah it's actually Monday this time!
Lately I've been having this song stuck in my head. It's probably one of my favorite Green Day songs. I used to like that band a lot but I've somewhat grew out of them. I found out that I am more fond of their older songs than the majorly over played songs like American Idiot and Holiday.
Hitchin' A Ride - Green Day
Hey mister, where you headed?
Are you in a hurry?
I need a lift to happy hour
Say oh no.
Do you brake for distilled spirits?
I need a break as well
The well that inibriates the guilt.
1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
Cold turkey's getting stale
Tonight I'm eating crow
Fermented salmonella poison oak, no
There's a drought at the fountain of youth, and now I'm dehydrating
My tongue is swelling up, as say
1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
Troubled times, you know I can not lie
I'm off the wagon and I'm hitchin' a ride
There's a drought at the fountain of youth, and now I'm dehydrating
My tongue is swelling up, I say shit!
Troubled times, you know I can not lie
I'm off the wagon and I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride
I'm hitchin' a ride

Gunslinger Girl: Part 1
"The Light Before We Land" - The Delgados (opening theme)
and when I feel like I can feel once again
SEE WHAT I MEAN! The one's on the top are from season one, the bottoms are from Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino (GG season 2)... But the whole story line of Gunslinger Girl was so well thought out! You know when people make movies and everything looks better? That was the first season, it was so unlike any other anime! It had a sort of sadness to it but, not enough to weigh you down... If you want to learn more about the show you should go to Wikipeida. Or you could check out the Character List and learn more about each individual plot...
You kind of have to watch this anime carefully because the subtitles in both seasons are pretty fast and may need some re-winding. This anime is also based in Italy so it can be very confusing to hear people speaking Japanese in Italy with an English theme song and an Italian ending theme song... All and all it is a defendant 5/5 in my mind! I will do Gunslinger Girl: Part 2 and an anime update when I finish the series (I'm on Season 2: Episode 5 right now...).
(The blond Gunslinger Girl (above) is Rico. There were 6 girls but one died in the first season)

Anime Tuesday?
"Clint Eastwood" - Gorillaz
Oh oh oh oh oh
I ain't happy,
I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine in a bag
I'm useless but Not for long
The future is coming on
I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on Yeah...
Ha Ha! Finally someone let me out of my cage
Now, time for me is nothing cos I'm counting no age
Now I couldn't be there
Now you shouldn't be scared
I'm good at repairs
And I'm under each snare
Intangible
Bet you didn't think so I command you to
Panoramic view
Look I'll make it all manageable
Pick and choose Sit and lose All you different crews
Chicks and dudes Who you think is really kickin' tunes?
Picture you gettin' down in a picture tube
Like you lit the fuse
You think it's fictional
Mystical? Maybe
Spiritual Hearable
What appears in you is a clearer view cos you're too crazy
Lifeless
To know the definition for what life is
Priceless
For you because I put you on the hype shit
You like it?
Gunsmokin' righteous with one token Psychic
among those Possess you with one go
I ain't happy,
I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless,but not for long
The future is coming on
I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
The essence the basics
Without it you make it
Allow me to make this Childlike in nature
Rhythm
You have it or you don't that's a fallacy
I'm in them
Every sprouting tree Every child apiece
Every cloud you see
You see with your eyes I see destruction and demise
Corruption in disguise From this fuckin' enterprise
Now I'm sucking to your lies
Through Russ, though not his muscles but the percussion he provides
with me as a guide
But y'all can see me now cos you don't see with your eye
You perceive with your mind
That's the inner
So I'm gonna stick around with Russ and be a mentor
Bust a few rhymes so mother fuckers Remember where the thought is
I brought all this So you can survive when law is
lawless
Feelings, sensations that you thought were dead
No squealing, remember (that it's all in your head)
I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on
I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
My future is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on It's coming on
It's coming on
My future
is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
My future
is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
My future
is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
My future
is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
My future
is coming on
It's coming on
It's coming on
My future ...
This isn't even from an anime but, it is anime in it's own way... The Gorillaz are a virtual band and no one has seen them in person... Kind of like the band, Kiss. They all wore make-up but one day they took it off and out pops Gene Simmons. The Gorillaz were even at the Grammes but had an AWESOME projection/hologram thing going on.
"Feel Good Inc." and "Hung Up" - The Gorillaz and Madonna
I found the Gorillaz AMAZING! I still don't know how they did the hologram thing. Madonna is kind of um, LAME. But, she shows off how the Gorillaz look like they're actually there! She even walks behind them! It's so awesome! Just imagine what people could do with stuff like that. Usually pictures are projected on pieces of glass but when Madonna went behind them you would've been able to see her through the hologram!
Here's a bonus, I'M FINALLY DONE WITH MY HOMEWORK! Next weeks homework shouldn't be half as bad. I get to practice the Harigana/Katakana characters next week in JA1 and I don't really know what I do next JA21 but, It'll probably be awesome! Till next post, Sayonara!

Anime Monday!
"Hare Hare Yukai" - Aya Hirano
Yes, I know I've probably already done this one but, this version was too cute to pass up! I'll do a DOUBLE WHAMMY to make up for it.
"God Knows..." and "Lost My Music" - Aya Hirano
This is actually rather odd for an anime to have more music in it than just the beginning and ending theme songs... I really like the music though, so that's why it's on here! Aya Hirano also sounds pretty good live too... Anyways; Till next post, Sayonara!
ROCK ON KITTEN! =(^-^)=

Anime Monday!
"Hanamaru Sensation" - Little Non
This is a little inappropriate at times. Kind of like Dokuru-chan but, all and all it's still a pretty good anime! So this is the ending theme song from Kodomo no Jikan! I really like the dark-haired girl's outfits! They usually consist of a cat tail, ears and a cute doll dress... Something along the lines of what Yuki in Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody (Haruhi Suzimaya manga chapter) wore.... Till next post, Sayonara!

Anime Moday!
"Little Girls" - Oingo Boingo
This weeks anime is Azumanga Daioh! Sorry for last week, but this week the video's on time! Me and my friend have been singing this song for awhile... At parks, in the shower and other places when it would be rather inappropriate. It's so much fun though. Wait a sec, this is a DOUBLE WAMMY WEEK!!! So here's number two with Chiyo-chan in the lead!
"Real Sugar baby" - Stephanie Beard
The beginning was a little dumb but a little into the video it gets kind of cute. Chiyo-chan is perfect for this song!

"Soramimi Cake"-Oranges and Lemons
This week is Azumanga Daioh! This is the opening theme song Soramimi Cake! Azumanga Daioh was the first anime that I've ever watched! It is very funny anime and makes me want to make a bento...^-^ It's kind of a kiddy Aime but, it's still pretty good! What will next week be? Till next post, Sayonara!

Band day
I was at DL (Disney land) and everyone in the Teens group dressed up like pro kids from a rock band. We couldn't decide what to name the band I thought the name 'Racially Confused' was pretty awesome but, 'The Cancerous Lumps' is clever too... So we didn't ever name the band. I played the tambourine and Christine was playing the finger symbols. Nick was playing a maraca I think. And Russell was the lead singer (oh dear) it was pretty bad over all but, we looked like we came straight from a rock concert. It was a lot of fun.

Yes! We HXC kids are going to play as a band at Disneyland (Unnoficaly of course...)! I'll write another entry then. So i'm playing the Tamborene (I could sing too but, somebody else is)...My friend is playing the Finger Symbols... And, I really don't know what else anybody is playing.. I should write a song... I haven't wrote a song in soo long. See ya' on the Flip Side!

Sweeny Todd
I've been reading the book "Sweeny Todd" It's pretty amazing! I'm going to see the movie after I read the book. But, I'm pretty sure the book is better than the movie (it usually is). I'm also reading A Midsummer's Night Dream and Romeo and Juliet (might as well read some Shakespeare books too. I like the classics). I'm about half way through Sweeny. Or as Mrs. Lovett likes to call him Mr. T., Imagine the REAL Mr. T as a barber... Hold still FOOL... Good times. What could be a better movie than one with the actor Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow) and directed by Tim Burton (Jack Skellington)? Anyway, the book is called 'Sweeny Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street' I really suggest you go and read it.
Disneyland
I miss Disneyland my friends and I used to go all the time... But, I got a pass again! So now I can go (if it isn't a block out day)! WOO! I kinda miss when California Screamin' and Space Mountain where ROCKIN' but, unfortuanatally that ended... But Jack is back! Halloween Haunt jets Jacked around Christmastime, If you've ever wached The Nightmare Before Christmas you know why but, if you haven't... Jack Skellington (the Pumpkin King) "Grows so tired of the same old thing". You'd just have to see it I don't want to spoil it ^_^.
One of my friends and I used to ride Thunder Mountain ALL the time but, now we can't (my friend moved to Texas). Anyways...That was 'our' ride, I guess it still kinda' is. I need to get a ride to Texas one of these days...
